Where gaps have been noted in coverage in the parish registers attempts have been made to bridge them by including information available from Bishop's Transcripts.

There is a substantial gap in the parish registers of Hill between 1742 and 1765. Bishop's Transcripts have been included for this period but are very sparse.

Oldbury-upon-Severn burials between 1813 and 1878 have been extracted from Bishop's Transcripts, the parish register for this period having been destroyed in a fire at the church in 1897.
