Thank you so much for your site.

In a matter of a few minutes searching, I have found my Great-great-great grand-father, his father, and his father and I think his father.

It took my uncle and myself months of searching to find any trace of our relatives from Gloucestershire, till I came across your site.

Once again thank you very much

What a fantastic site. A big thank you to those who must have spent many hours putting this info together. It has helped me fill several gaps in my ancestral tree!
My particular interest is in the POVEY, and BEARD families from the Thornbury area. William Povey 1772-1818 and his wife Hannah Beard 1765-1833 were my 3xgreat grandparents.

Would love to hear from anyone tacing these families.

This is a very interesting site that shall help many of us find our roots. I have the Bibury Phipps family and the Lawrences of both Slimbridge and Frampton On Severn/ Fretherne area to share with those looking for their roots.
I have wondered if the connection John Phipps is looking for between the Phipps of Bibury and the Phipps of Berkeley come from the lineage of Anthony Phipps does any one out there know if that could be?
Great site. Keep up the good work.
