Excellent records. I have found many of my ancestors. It is strange that both my great-great grandfathers were born in Berkeley but both took a very different path in life, both moving to different parts of the country up to my grandfather and grandmother meeting in Yorkshire in the second decade of the 20th century..

Great site - easy to use. One point though - there is no link to the web owner for feddback on entries. My great-grandfather James MARSH married Clara Annie WEBB in 1884. His father was Walter MARSH, not Willis as appears on the marriage record. I have original certificates to verify if the web owner would like me to send copies for the entry to be corrected. Just wish Scribe's Alcove extended to St Mary's Hawkesbury.

Go well!

Thank you for all your work transcribing these registers. I was thrilled to discover my George Watts bp 29 Nov 1733 of Mobley, Berkeley, and the marriage of his parents George Watts and Elizabeth Pearce on 13 Feb 1729 in Berkeley. This is a great resource!
