Thank you for visiting our guestbook. We would love it if you would Add to this message board we are keeping!

Thank all the transcribers for their great work as after 2 years of searching for my husband's gt gt grandmother Matilda Weeks born 1838 Thornbury, I have found her. As I live in Australia it is difficult but after trying to go through the parish records on Mormon's films found it ended in 1837!!! Thank you all and if anyone has any more on the Weeks family in Thornbury, I'd love to hear from them. Regards, Pauline Rice, Bowral, NSW, Australia.

Your website has possibly given me an opportunity to bridge a connection between my ancestor,Jonah Rodman christened Cromhall 4-5-1801(one of a family of 7 from Thomas and Anne Rodman of Cromhall(married 1785)
and the Rodmans of nearby areas today via Berkeley-Stone and Wotton.
My ancestor was transported to VDL(Tasmania) in 1823 for petty crime in Cromhall and Berkeley never to see his family in Glos ever again.
But now I am only missing one link thanks to your wonderful website where I found reference to William and Elizabeth Rodman and family from Stone.(William was born in Cromhall and is possibly a child of one of Jonah's brother's ,William,Thomas or John although there was one other John Rodman who had married Flower Eacutt in Cromhall
in late 1700s who might have been a brother of Thomas anyway.

What a wonderful site. I found quite a few members of the Richard Russell/Lucy Dash family in Berkeley. This is quite eerie as I now find myself living quite close to Berkeley, California.

Thank you to all those hard-working people who have shared this information.

Many thanks for all your efforts. I am researching the Hawker family from the Thornbury area who were farmers and who later moved to the Horton/Hawkesbury area
